my fucking college introduced NASSCOM as a mandatory part of curriculum and we're being assigned marks for it as a part of our academic syllabus. and their website doesn't even work. spent 2 hours in the office enrolling into their stupid course and the page isn't working.

In ideal cases, I'll disappear after earning enough money to sustain my family for their whole lives. I'll be seen nowhere.

indian tech twitter is living such a delusional life that a single AI model announcement makes them tweet about it for days, yet they have no idea what’s happening in their own country outside their privileged tiny tech bubble

anyone saying the protesters are doing wrong, stfu. they're not harming anyone, and are rather being assaulted by @DelhiPolice illegally. if the protesters' issues are so wrong, why doesn't @narendramodi set up a press conference and answer the people in doubt?
I'm not a Congress supporter, not even remotely, but I think it's important to acknowledge moments like this regardless of which party was in power. In 2005, students at JNU greeted Dr. Manmohan Singh with black flags and slogans over his economic policies. When the university issued notices to the protesters, he reportedly asked that no action be taken against them, recognising their right to peaceful protest. What's even more striking is how he began his speech that day. He quoted Voltaire: I may disagree with what you say, but I shall defend to the death your right to say it. That is the kind of democratic principle we should expect from every government, regardless of its political ideology.
