My good friend @AliciaB552590 is the one who also eagerly watched a 10 plus hour documentary on Kosovo in the 1990s and the NATO response. We both heard British PM Tony Blair, liberal globalist, lead the way with his humanitarian speeches to justify NATO bombing. And Blair noted in late 1998, when things heated up, he was meeting with other EU leaders to remake a modern Europe aligned with such principles. This included the climate, borders, trade and globalist principles. It wasn’t a friendly time to be asserting nationalism or sovereignty. And with him always—William Jefferson Clinton.

When 13 year old Gavrilo Princip moved from Bosnia to Sarajevo in 1907 for schooling he came under the influence of 17 year old Danilo Illich, son of Princip’s land lord. Danilo had a “cool mustache”, read Nietzsche, purchased radical political literature and always wore a black tie to remind us “death is near.” Does this type seem familiar ? This is now going to be a three part lecture series I will be conducting next month . Part one will focus on WWI. Part two will examine how the Balkans exploded in violence in the 1990s with the breakup of the Socialist Yugoslavia Federation and part three will examine how these conflicts were managed by “balance of power” v “collective security” and how events today in France, Ukraine, the Middle East and Albania relate to the past.

On Wilsonian ideals of self-determination why can’t the Serb areas(Srpska) join Serbia and the Croat area (southwest) join Croatia? You can have the Muslim Bosnians in the center with their own entity. Is having a rotating presidency with 3 presidents that great of a deal ?
Did the you know the highest authority in Bosnia isn’t a Bosnian ? Nope. Per the Clinton fueled Dayton Accords the most powerful man is a German appointed by European countries as the UN High Commissioner who enjoys the “final word.”
