First, many SNAP recipients have jobs. They’re just living below the poverty line because of tremendous wealth inequality.
Second, many are disabled and children and can’t work.
Third, no one should starve to death.

Today UNC students remained sheltered in place for over 3 hours as an active shooter was on our campus. Our 6th day of school was spent under desks and in closets. This is our reality. Demand common sense gun laws now. #uncchapelhill #unc
