I’d suggest that when colleagues in Canberra hold up work in digital services in Estonia as a digital transformation benchmark, it would be good to recall that their total population is 1.3 million. For me @ServiceNSW is doing just as good a job with 6 times the audience.

Anyone else getting urgent messages from the Digital Marketplace that require you to use an alternative email address to respond? #UX

Jacob Rees-Mogg is furious that you keep retweeting him saying a new Prime Minister requires a General Election.
Please stop retweeting it otherwise Rishi Sunak and the entire Conservative Party could be gone in weeks

Speaks volumes that in all the outcry about “political ads”, few commentators seem to have noticed that despite Howard, Morrison et al spending shedfuls of money on this stuff, they still lost their elections. Overtly political ads simply don’t work anymore.
The Liberal and Labor governments' use of taxpayer-funded advertising has been condemned by @GrattanInst after a new report found that nearly $50 million yearly has been spent on politicised campaign advertisements. @annamabelmac has more.

Australia’s best journalist doing her best work (again). Astonished that the rest of the media aren’t all over this story. #thankskate
Koletti's evidence is doing my head in. He previously identified himself in a grainy image in a car at 6.55am the morning Melissa disappeared. He said it was him out searching. Now he says you can't really tell & he was at home and hadn't realized she was gone. #Caddickinquest
If you’re in Government and worried that you’re not digital enough, stop and have a chat with @piacandrews. You’ll save us all a fortune.

The ANAO report states that the much trumpeted “Digital Marketplace” awarded SIX (count ‘em) lucky “SME’s” an average of 115 contracts each. Have to say that if you’re getting 115 contracts from the DTA in a single year, you’re not exactly an “SME”. What say you @tburton ?
“Ineffective on 9 procurements”. Out of 9. anao.gov.au/work/performance…
Astonishing that this is still going on. The only people benefiting from the rush to digital transformation are IT vendors.

Terrifically well written piece from @TheMandarinAU. Public servants, quite rightly, work to the strictest of moral and ethical codes. This situation should never have arisen. themandarin.com.au/194773-je…

When the Lismore region flooded, Scott Morrison & his local MP promised a $10M CSIRO flood mitigation study. But they forgot to sign the contract, so nothing has happened. 🤦♂️ dailytelegraph.com.au/news/n…

#qanda Good idea putting Monique Ryan on the same panel as Downer & Bragg - as a paediatric neurologist she has a lot of experience with small brains.
