I built gopredict.app with my brother from scratch after months of work, testing, updates, failures, and starting over. Two students, one dream: to build a prediction market app where anyone can create their own prediction market & truly be part of the platform. I believe creating memecoins was the meta of the past. The next big thing will be creating prediction markets. I want to be completely transparent in this open letter. And our vision is stronger than ever. Like I said, we built this product over several months with little to no money. We worked part time just to earn enough money to keep building, and spent the rest of our time working on the app. We fair launched the token. We could have tried to buy most of the supply & push the coin to a $10M market cap with 1,000 SOL, creating the appearance of instant success and attracting buyers. But we decided not to. And honestly, we couldn’t afford to do that anyway. 😅 Hundreds of coins are launched every day, many following the same playbook: volume bots, fake activity, hidden supply, insiders owning 80%+, and eventually holders getting rugged. We wanted to do things differently. We launched with the last money we had. No KOLs. No fake volume. No hidden supply. No VCs. Nothing behind us except two brothers, months of work, and one dream: To build a platform that can one day reach a $1B valuation. Maybe that sounds crazy when you look at us today. But almost every big story looked small on Day One. I truly believe what we’ve built deserves a chance.
