Introducing The Mine – the first mineable ERC721 on ApeChain, powered by Proof of Work. Users generate real work through Hash-Mining Data, on a Mining App, in-browser: by finding a Valid Hash prompting them to mint an NFT of the proof that is the proof—it can’t exist without it. Each piece is unique, on-chain art, forming a verifiable, unique, representation and record of the work itself. This is the next evolution of minting (ironically inspired by the original form of Blockchain). Proof > Stake. Play to Mint. The Mine will be open to all ApeChain communities (eventually all communities(reputable ones)), forging something bigger in the process. A collaborative, verifiable, autonomous on-chain art creation engine. Open initially to a select group of Collections: Goobaloos, Gobs, NPCs, and **** and ****. We’re at the cusp of a new standard in NFT mechanics - proving what’s possible ON APECHAIN, and encouraging Outsiders to on-board into Apechain through appreciation of innovation. Through a series of bespoke, hand-written (not AI) smart contracts, we’ve built a fair, deterministic, and scalable economic foundation—governed entirely by on-chain mechanics where users interact directly with the autonomous system (smart contracts) and each other. These three slides lay JUST the foundation of The Mine, and we’ll continue revealing more in the coming updates. This is 'literally' just the tip of what we've built. While the contracts are complex, the user experience is simple: Click. Click. Gold. The Mine will also feature (Alpha) a nuanced version of the Minter Royalties* idea we pioneered in @goobaloos (soft shill, yellow card). Goobaloos themselves are On Chain Artwork, The First Illustrated On Chain Art Collection on @apecoin. *Minter Royalties use ERC721c to send Royalties directly to the Original Minter of Goobaloo any time it Sells on Secondary; and have at this moment generated 6k Ape in Royalties from 120k Total Volume (5%) to Original Minters of the Collection. The Mine Contracts aim to be deployed, tested, and alpha tested with select, respected, members of the Apechain Community within the next few days (a soft opening of sorts), before going full scale (grand opening/pick mint).
