5 years ago, I attended a 2-hour keynote by the late Douglas Trumbull on 2001: A Space Odyssey. When discussing his experience working with Kubrick, he shared these key insights into what it was like to work with SK.
Im designing again. The tools are evolving, its so exciting, doing projects that 3 years ago I could only dream of. Exciting times!!!

Michael Franks turns 80 today. Though most of his songs from the yacht rock era are too jazzy to be included in the genre, he does have a handful on the boat, including “Now That Your Joystick’s Broke”, “Jealousy” and “Your Secret’s Safe with Me”.
