Surely one of my mutuals would be perfect for this
I am looking to commission someone to research and write a long-form essay on the broader cultural effects of Vatican II aesthetics outside of the Church—showing how liturgical life, art, and the role of the priest and religious changed in the popular imagination, and how this rippled through American life in unexpected ways. It's the history that I've already wanted to read, but this particular thread doesn't exist. I'll oversee the project as managing editor, but I am looking for a stellar person and excellent writer—or a team—to undertake the bulk of the research and production.
Do you know the right person/people for this work? Ready to begin immediately, with a release of the work as an essay with visual and graphical adornments—think a New York Times feature story—sometime in the first half of next year.
