Highly underrated advice. Cause if you're really intelligent, you likely won't take your ego seriously, bc you'll break its nonsense with logic, unfolding layer after layer until you see that it's all nothing. It becomes almost impossible to emotionally hurt such people, and if they don't get hurt, they're unlikely to do anything worthy because why would they? There is nothing to prove to anyone. They might succeed, but too late, because without ego, nothing in you is pushed to come out fast. You'll notice highly capable people living mediocre lives for this reason alone: they never got broken and hurt.
