Can I be greedy here? I hope they repurposed that set and filmed a music video for Holiday Party (one of my faves on the album)! 🎉🍾🥳

One thing I have enjoyed in the Kelly Clarkson discourse is all the industry people, vendors, crew, fans, waiters/waitresses, and retail workers who are coming forward to post their stories of working with/meeting/serving Kelly over the years and all speak of her kindness. 😊
First they claimed the bird wasn’t for sale cause it’s their unofficial store mascot but now it is for sale for $15M dollars… 🤨
Art of Play has put the mechanical bird at the center of the Kelly Clarkson controversy on sale for $15 MILLION, according to co-owner Adam Rubin.
The store has also seen a surge in sales and foot traffic following the backlash.

Kelly Clarkson's feud with the Brooklyn novelty store Art of Play is "providing the public a service, of sorts," writes @DPD_.
"For too long, celebrities have been PR-trained and social-media-managed within an inch of their lives. Clarkson, Twitter fingers at the ready, provided a long weekend’s worth of entertainment — and a nostalgic reminder of a time when stars used to log on and indulge their messiest selves."

Me explaining the Kelly Clarkson vs Brooklyn store drama to my family over Canadian Thanksgiving dinner was good entertainment
Y’all know Kelly Clarkson loves a yellow bird! #LoveSoSoft
Cool, cool. Sure, it wasn’t for sale. That’s the narrative Art of Play is gonna go with 👍 so the whole conversation we had when I asked you if it was for sale whilst pointing to the price tag hanging on the wall with the title Singing Bird didn’t happen as you elevator eyed me saying in a condescending tone “yes, it’s for sale but it costs 15,000 dollars so if you’d like me to find something comparable for you I can.” That all never happened and now it’s not for sale. Okay, cool. So you’re not only rude, you’re also a liar. Got it ✅
And by the way, I obviously support small businesses because I was literally at a small business trying to purchase things. I love small businesses and know they are important and I always support them, but you don’t get a free pass to treat people less than in your store just because you are a small business. It’s not that hard to be kind. I never blast people but you my friend were an exception.
Your store is really cool.
Unfortunately, you aren’t.
