I'm so fucking tired of the selective morality in gaming. We built an industry around unhealthy screen time, addictive social media, energy drinks, fast food, and alcohol. We glorify working with athletes and celebrities who have the exact same sponsorships, including gambling deals. Half the products and technology we use every day are tied to unethical labor practices and supply chains that exploit people around the world. But gambling is suddenly where everyone draws the moral line? I'm not saying gambling is harmless. I'm saying we've spent decades glorifying and profiting from unhealthy and unethical behavior.
