Tonight might just go down in history as the day Australia as we knew it ended.
Getting ahead in Australia is about to become twice as hard.
Taking risks, investing, building wealth, the things that used to be encouraged are starting to look like they with come with a penalty.
All to keep the gravy train going while disguised as helping young people.
Disgraceful.

The only thing I would add is eggs are only part of the equation for the necessary folate the developing child requires.

If you were a victim of the #Hypervault rug that happened earlier last year on HyperEVM, i need you to reach out to me!
I'm working with someone who can help recover these funds, we have enough data to move forward, i just need as many as possible affected people to reach out to me via DMs so i can verify then add you in a group so we can pursue this together.
Do tag anyone you know who have been affected if you were not affected yourself.

The cost of being average has never been higher.
AI helps businesses eliminate mediocre employees. That is no longer a question.
But it's not that AI is replacing workers. It's that ultra-talented team members, now armed with significantly more leverage, can play the role 5 other people used to have to play.
And it's worth explaining why:
AI allows for significantly easier CONTEXT SWITCHING.
One single person can now wear multiple hats within a department because they have pre-set projects & skills that let's them "boot up" into the work much faster. These hold context and keep you organized in real time without having to hang on to the mental open loops.
It's why you're seeing CEOs commit code again. They can immediately jump from a board meeting into coding mode because their AI projects can remind them where they left off.
And this type of "flattening" is going to happen to every business.
One talented marketer can write ads, record ads, run ads, write emails, set up funnel tech, and write social content. That used to take 5 people.
Insert whatever department or skill you want, and the example holds.
It will be the AI Orchestrators accomplishing more themselves than large teams used to accomplish. Margins will be higher, and these talented individuals will receive massive amounts of compensation.
This isn't fear mongering. Just look around!
You will not find a company actively looking to expand its headcount right now.
And it's only getting started.
So. What does that mean for you?
I would recommend 2 things:
1. Get as close to revenue generation as possible. The more direct revenue you produce for the company, the less likely you will end up in these cuts. The further you are from revenue, the easier your role will be consolidated into someone else's.
2. Enter into a significant period of AI immersion. You need to take your upskilling very seriously. You want to put yourself in a position to orchestrate and play multiple roles at once. Stay on the bleeding edge of every model, proactively look to take on more responsibility, and force yourself into becoming more efficient and leveraged with these tools. There is no downside to doing this and there is always upside from becoming more talented.
Best of luck ✊
we're making @blocks smaller today. here's my note to the company.
####
today we're making one of the hardest decisions in the history of our company: we're reducing our organization by nearly half, from over 10,000 people to just under 6,000. that means over 4,000 of you are being asked to leave or entering into consultation. i'll be straight about what's happening, why, and what it means for everyone.
first off, if you're one of the people affected, you'll receive your salary for 20 weeks + 1 week per year of tenure, equity vested through the end of may, 6 months of health care, your corporate devices, and $5,000 to put toward whatever you need to help you in this transition (if you’re outside the U.S. you’ll receive similar support but exact details are going to vary based on local requirements). i want you to know that before anything else. everyone will be notified today, whether you're being asked to leave, entering consultation, or asked to stay.
we're not making this decision because we're in trouble. our business is strong. gross profit continues to grow, we continue to serve more and more customers, and profitability is improving. but something has changed. we're already seeing that the intelligence tools we’re creating and using, paired with smaller and flatter teams, are enabling a new way of working which fundamentally changes what it means to build and run a company. and that's accelerating rapidly.
i had two options: cut gradually over months or years as this shift plays out, or be honest about where we are and act on it now. i chose the latter. repeated rounds of cuts are destructive to morale, to focus, and to the trust that customers and shareholders place in our ability to lead. i'd rather take a hard, clear action now and build from a position we believe in than manage a slow reduction of people toward the same outcome. a smaller company also gives us the space to grow our business the right way, on our own terms, instead of constantly reacting to market pressures.
a decision at this scale carries risk. but so does standing still. we've done a full review to determine the roles and people we require to reliably grow the business from here, and we've pressure-tested those decisions from multiple angles. i accept that we may have gotten some of them wrong, and we've built in flexibility to account for that, and do the right thing for our customers.
we're not going to just disappear people from slack and email and pretend they were never here. communication channels will stay open through thursday evening (pacific) so everyone can say goodbye properly, and share whatever you wish. i'll also be hosting a live video session to thank everyone at 3:35pm pacific. i know doing it this way might feel awkward. i'd rather it feel awkward and human than efficient and cold.
to those of you leaving…i’m grateful for you, and i’m sorry to put you through this. you built what this company is today. that's a fact that i'll honor forever. this decision is not a reflection of what you contributed. you will be a great contributor to any organization going forward.
to those staying…i made this decision, and i'll own it. what i'm asking of you is to build with me. we're going to build this company with intelligence at the core of everything we do. how we work, how we create, how we serve our customers. our customers will feel this shift too, and we're going to help them navigate it: towards a future where they can build their own features directly, composed of our capabilities and served through our interfaces. that's what i'm focused on now. expect a note from me tomorrow.

Stable coins are cryptocurrencies pegged to stable assets (often $ nominated assets like treasuries)
Aka digital dollars on blockchains that don’t swing wildly in price.
They’re poised to revolutionize finance because they deliver:
- Instant, 24/7 global settlement
- Fees often <1¢ instead of 1–3%
- Borderless movement with no intermediaries
- Native programmability via smart contracts
That point on native programmability is especially important for AI agents.
Stablr coins are money rails far superior to today’s system.
Agentic commerce can be defined today as AI agents autonomously buying, selling, paying, negotiating, transacting.
Traditional payment rails fail agents because of:
- High fees on micro-transactions
- Slow settlement
- No easy way to give agents wallets or spending authority that’s enforced adequately
Stablecoin rails solve all of this:
- Near-zero cost micropayments
- Instant finality
- Programmable wallets & rules agents can follow
- Machine-to-machine payments at internet scale
AI agents will become real economic actors, transacting trillions autonomously.
Stable coins aren’t just better money, they’re the native infrastructure for an AI-driven economy.

This @TheWhiteWhaleV2 vs @MEXC_Official saga has been fascinating to me
I stand with TWW and cannot believe MEXC has let this become so public
They have done irreparable damage well beyond the $3m dispute
Not only the brand damage, but now arbitration costs… $3m is a bargain to end this dispute
At minimum, $HYPE is a top 10 coin in terms of market cap in the coming months to years.

To those that keep calling for ALT Season:
In order for ALT Season to happen, ETH needs to go to $5k+ and hold it as support.
For ETH to go to $5k *AND* hold it as support, it means BTC needs to also go to all time highs.
The process of BTC going to all time highs would make BTC dominance go higher, just like it has all cycle.
So the only way to get an "ALT Season" is for BTC.D to first go up as BTC goes to new highs.
If that does not happen, then ALT Season does not happen.
So while the gurus sit out here and yap about BTC.D dropping now and they shill their shitcoins once again, just remember in order to get what they want, they first have to be wrong.
AGAIN.

This is disgusting propaganda.
In a cost of government crisis (not a cost of living crisis), our government has decided to use your money to try convince you that it's a bad thing to parent your kids however you want.
Instead, they want to control your kids.
They want to police what they can and cannot see online, and in the process make ALL adults hand over confidential information to access the internet via Digital ID.
They want to manage your family when they can't even manage the economy.
These people are an undemocratic disgrace.
Soviet level propaganda.
Every single sitting politician should be dissolved of their duties and random citizens should be chosen off the street to replace them - for the good of the Australia we all grew up in and love.
