I finally understood why God wanted us to put Him first, people will let you down in ways that remind you why your faith should never rest entirely on humans.

🎉 COME CELEBRATE OUR 4TH CHURCH ANNIVERSARY, NEW CHAPTER, AND NEW BEGINNINGS! 🎉
Join us on October 25th at 3:00 PM as we celebrate our 4th Church Anniversary, our Grand Opening, and the official unveiling of our new church name!
God has brought us into a new season! As we transition from Fort Worth’s Southside to the Eastside, the Lord has blessed us with our very own church home in the Handley community of Fort Worth. For the past three months, we have been making minor renovations as we prepare for this exciting new chapter of ministry.
If you are a family member, friend, or someone who has been a part of this journey with us, we invite you to come out and celebrate! Let’s praise the Lord together because we are going to have a high time in the Lord! 🙌🏾
And yes, there will be PLENTY OF FOOD! 🥘
If you’re on the Eastside of Fort Worth, come celebrate with us, get to know us, and be a part of what God is doing. We look forward to serving this community and being the hands and feet of Jesus for God’s glory!
A NEW CHAPTER. A NEW NAME. A NEW BEGINNING! 🙌🏾🔥

tbh he’s not wrong. we have to stop enabling people, even family.
I can’t help anyone who can’t help themselves
Billionaire Tyler Perry gave his own family 60 days to find jobs or lose his financial support. Despite being worth an estimated $1.4 billion, he refused to keep supporting relatives who weren't working.
In the video below, Perry explains why he fired his own aunt and later gave other family members an ultimatum after his mother's death.
He wanted them to become financially independent instead of relying on his fortune.
One aunt regularly called asking for money, and Perry kept sending it until he offered her a job. But she repeatedly called in and failed to show up for work, so he eventually fired her.
His mother had also asked him to support other relatives, and he continued helping them while she was alive. After she died in 2009, Perry sent them letters giving them 60 days to find employment or lose his financial support.
According to Perry, every relative eventually found a job. He didn't care whether the jobs paid well because he wanted them to earn their own money and have something to feel proud of.
Perry also recalled a relative getting angry when he refused to hand over $1 million. He believed that continually giving money to people who refused to work was making their dependence worse.
A billionaire who could afford to support his entire family chose to make them earn their own living.
If you had $1.4 billion, would you keep supporting unemployed relatives or give them the same 60-day ultimatum?
The wedding industry is a scam man 😭
So a woman booked a full-face makeup appointment for $200 and went to her wedding. Now the makeup artist is upset because she normally charges brides $800 for the SAME makeup.
Since when do we get mad because somebody didn’t pay a wedding markup? The makeup didn’t take any longer just because she was a bride! 😂
