I think one of the rudest things brains do is convince you that people are just being nice when they say words. The number of times I've stepped away and hid back in my own bubble because I was convinced that people were just being nice, and that I was being a bother is staggering. It's incredibly rude to all involved, and it gets hard because sometimes people are just being nice. Which means you end up making choices based on actions. but that doesn't work because like, you're not the center of the universe. Of course people will get busy, have their own shit, not have energy to reach out or social. It's just such a mess. Maybe we should normalize checking in even when nothing's wrong and plainly telling people when you're uncomfy/don't want to interact with them.

I probably will continue to not be too active here. RIP glitch out of pocket tweets and pets and play. Have been on a semi-hiatus aside from my fan site streams. I plan to get back into posting content regularly soonTM. But I'm happier spending more time off my feed. ^_^
