कोणत्याही एका पद्धतीचे समर्थन न करता, मला पडलेले काही प्रश्न: १) ज्यांना UPSC प्रमाणे परीक्षा पद्धत हवी होती, त्यांनी वैकल्पिक विषय (Optional Subject) हटवण्यात आला तेव्हा आवाज का उठवला नाही? २) २०२५ च्या मुख्य परीक्षेला किती उमेदवार हजर होते आणि किती गैरहजर होते? गैरहजर ची संख्या अधिक होती, तर का? ३) परीक्षा महाराष्ट्र राज्यासाठी घेतली जात असताना अभ्यासक्रमात राज्याशी संबंधित घटकांना पुरेसे स्थान का नाही? (उदा. मराठा साम्राज्याचा इतिहास, महाराष्ट्र आणि शेजारील राज्यांचे संबंध इत्यादी.) ४) उत्तरपत्रिकांचे मूल्यमापन जर पुन्हा त्याच जुन्या आणि वादग्रस्त पद्धतीने झाले, तर काय? ५) पदवीधर उमेदवारांना जर १५० ते २५० शब्दांत उत्तर मांडता येत नसेल, तर पुढे प्रशासकीय कामकाजात ते कशी कामगिरी करणार? ६) Objective पद्धतीत पारदर्शकता असते हे मान्य; परंतु यामुळे पुन्हा पेपरफुटी होणार नाही, याची शाश्वती कोणी देऊ शकते का? ७) Objective पद्धतीमध्ये नव्याने अभ्यास सुरू करणारे उमेदवार आणि आधीपासून पदावर कार्यरत असलेले (Post Holders) उमेदवार—यांपैकी कोणाची निवड होण्याची शक्यता जास्त आहे? ८) पूर्वपरीक्षेत आधीच Objective माध्यमातून प्राथमिक क्षमतेची पडताळणी झाली असताना, मुख्य परीक्षेत पुन्हा Objective स्वरूप ठेवून वेगळे काय साध्य होणार? ९) OMR स्कॅनर यंत्रामध्ये त्रुटी आढळल्यास ते यंत्र दुरुस्त/बदलणे योग्य ठरेल की थेट Descriptive पद्धतीचा पर्याय स्वीकारणे? टीप - मी Objective किंवा Descriptive यांपैकी कोणाचाही समर्थक नाही.

मला माहीत आहे, ही पोस्ट वाचून अनेकजण ट्रोल करतील. तरीही काही गंभीर विद्यार्थ्यांसाठी लिहित आहे. परीक्षेचा पॅटर्न descriptive राहील, objective होईल की काहीतरी नवीन बदल होईल—हे सध्या कुणालाच माहीत नाही. यावर आज चर्चा करणे म्हणजे २०२९ मध्ये कोणाचे सरकार येईल, याचा अंदाज बांधण्यासारखे आहे. या चर्चेत वेळ घालवण्यापेक्षा अभ्यास करा. पूर्वपरीक्षेचा अभ्यासक्रम बदलणार नाही; त्यामुळे त्यातील विषयांचा अभ्यास सुरू ठेवा. ज्यांची परीक्षा ३ जानेवारीला आहे, त्यांनी त्या परीक्षेची तयारी करा. ज्यांचा UPSCचा प्रयत्न आहे, त्यांनी UPSCची तयारी करा. गेलेला वेळ परत येत नाही. सरकारचा निर्णय झाल्यानंतरही अनेक पर्याय उपलब्ध असतील. म्हणून अभ्यास करा. अभ्यास करायचा नसेल, तर पर्यायी करिअरचा विचार करा. आयुष्यात काहीतरी करा. ही पोस्ट वाचून ज्यांना जो अर्थ काढायचा आहे, त्यांनी तो काढावा. ट्रोल करायचे असेल, तर करा. मला “कोचिंग माफिया”ही म्हणू शकता.
