The Fellowship of the Ring prologue is unrivalled
cinesthetic.

What is the greatest opening sequence in cinema history? The opening of INGLOURIOUS BASTERDS (2009) is hard to beat. The slow build-up, the unbearable tension and Christoph Waltz controlling every second of that conversation with nothing but his words. By the time the scene ends, Tarantino has you completely hooked. Which movie grabs you from its very first scene and never lets go?

Does anyone manage to hear the last thing the girl says to Jamie, and then he and the audience laugh at the comment?
