I borrowed £43,871 when I went to uni and graduated in 2020.
I have been paying off my Plan 2 student loan since April 2021.
Today, my balance is £89,861.50.
Back in August 2024 my interest rate was 8% each month. To put that into context, that’s £590.90, and I could only afford to pay £115.00.
How is this fair?
In 2016 I was told it would feel like a household bill or a trip to the cinema. Now it’s the difference between getting on the property ladder or staying in rented flat shares.
Every month, to this day, £307.30 of interest is added to my bill. And I’m projected to pay 9% of my salary for the next 25 years to repay my student loan.
This has to end.

The dumbest thing I did was be a 'good boy' for my entire working life: work hard and pay my taxes. 45 years of being systematically and arbitrarily robbed by criminals, some wearing blue ties, some wearing red, and even some sporting a splash of yellow.
I now struggle to pay my bills in retirement and I am still being fleeced via tax by the same clowns.
Meanwhile, these crooks choose to send cash abroad, squander it on insane initiatives such as 'net zero' and DEI, pay themselves tidy expenses, fund wars, and welcome with open arms anyone illegally entering the country, people they are happy to spend billions of pounds on whilst simultaneously making those of us who paid a fair whack into the system, struggle.
People often ask me why I don't vote any more ... and I think it should be fairly obvious. None of these 'senior politicians', across all parties, have any interest in the wellbeing of the common man or woman. They are only interested in their own self-promotion and pressing ahead with whatever harebrained agendas they support whilst in power.

A couple of years ago, someone spoke on the phone to Stevenage Magistrates Court and they confirmed that North Herts Council print their own “Court” summons.
The court admits that the council use their own software to produce a court summons. Every letter that they receive which looks like it’s from the magistrates court, is in fact directly from the local councils. No magistrate signs the court summons. She then goes on to say, that the council do all their own administration, the council rent a room off the court.
SHE admits that these questions are coming up a lot when it comes to the legality of the court summons. She also admits that the council are committing mass fraud by printing a magistrates court headed letter. She also admits it’s the same with liability orders.
There you go, folks right from the horses mouth, admitting that court summons and liability orders do not come from a magistrates court. They come from the councils own software.
The corrupt local councils have been running fraudulent STAR CHAMBERS, basically renting a room within the courts & processing illegal summons & fake liability orders. It’s all a complete fraud upon WE THE PEOPLE.

He spent three years selling stocks and buying almost nothing.
Then he stepped aside, and his successor did the EXACT opposite.
The crazy part? He just made INSANE history...
Buffett had piled up nearly 400 billion dollars in cash.
That is more money than most whole countries produce.
He kept it in safe government bonds earning about 4 percent.
He was quietly waiting for stocks to get cheap again.
That crash never came and the market kept setting records.
So his giant cash pile just sat there and waited.
That cash still earned him over 12 billion dollars yearly.
He even sold most of his huge Apple stake along the way.
Early this year the company bought back almost no stock.
It spent only 234 million dollars, tiny for a giant like this.
Then Abel took over and the pace suddenly exploded.
Early filings suggest he bought back billions in one quarter.
It may be the biggest stock buyback in Berkshire's history.
A buyback simply means he judged his own stock as cheap.
Now comes the part almost everyone missed.
He did not pour that cash into the record-high market.
He bought Berkshire's own shares instead.

Buying his own company was the one bet he trusted.
Most people watched stocks hit new highs and piled in.
The best investor alive was quietly doing the opposite.
Berkshire even trailed the market by about seven points this year.
He treated nearly every other stock as too expensive.
He would rather hold cash than overpay for anything.
Sitting in cash looked boring and even wrong for years.
But patient and boring is often how real money is made.
The crowd chases the top while the patient wait for value.
Retail chased the record highs.
The patient waited for the price.
