If you draw a straight line between Earth and Venus every three days for eight years, all those lines draw a five-petal flower known as the Rose of Venus. 🌼
There's a second pattern hiding in there too. Venus passes closest to Earth five times during those eight years, and if you join those five moments in order, they trace a five-pointed star.
I have two Belgian Malinois/Dutch Shepherd mixes. I took this photo three years ago when I first got them.
If you don’t have plenty of space for them to run around, or the time to exercise and walk them for hours, don’t even think about getting one 😂 These dogs have endless energy.
Most people are using ChatGPT Astra like one overworked employee, when it can work more like an entire team (I'll give you a prompt you can use.)
I’ve just learnt that when Astra is handling a large task in ChatGPT Work or Codex, you don’t have to let one agent do every part of the job in sequence. You can ask it to split the work among several agents, let them investigate different things at the same time, have other agents check their findings, and then combine everything into one final answer.
Imagine you’re considering opening a coffee shop. Normally, you might ask Astra to research the location, examine nearby competitors, estimate the cost of equipment, study customer demand and work out whether the business could make money.
If one agent handles all of that, it may research each subject one after another. But the agent studying nearby competitors doesn’t need to wait for the agent checking coffee-machine prices. The location research doesn’t need to wait for the cost calculations either. Those jobs can all happen at the same time.
Astra can send one agent to study the location, another to investigate competitors, another to calculate the likely costs and another to research demand. It can then give the important claims and figures to fresh agents to verify before producing the final business report.
This way of organising AI work is called graph engineering. It isn’t exclusive to Astra, but Astra is particularly suited to it because it can plan complicated work, delegate parts of it and bring the results back together.
The rule is easy to remember: if one task needs the result of another task, they should happen in order. If they don’t depend on each other, there’s no reason for one to wait.
Here’s a prompt you can copy:
“Break this job into independent parts. Use separate agents to handle the parts that can be completed at the same time. Give each agent a clear responsibility. Once they finish, use fresh agents to verify the important findings, resolve any contradictions and combine the verified work into one clear final result.”
I used Blender and OpenAI’s ChatGPT Astra to render one of our client’s architectural drawings for a house we’re building here in Nanyuki.
I’ve never used Blender before or rendered architectural drawings either. Even the soundtrack was created with AI.
The crazy part is, the actual house we’re building looks almost exactly like this.. 😳
This is mind-blowing. I can’t imagine what Blender + AI tools will be capable of five years from now.
A few months ago I bought a hybrid Honda Fit, then immediately came across the DCT gearbox horror stories. Very bad timing to discover that information.
The issue is not really the gearbox gears. Under the air-cleaner box are two small plastic reservoirs containing DOT 4 fluid for the DCT clutch actuators. The caps are vented, so with time the fluid absorbs moisture and degrades.
When I sucked mine out, it looked like spoilt milk.
That fluid runs the hydraulic side of the DCT: the parts that engage the clutches and select gears. Once it is dirty, it can cause problems with the actuators, valves and pump. That is when the jerking, gear warnings and expensive “gearbox” repairs start. I am told some repairs can get close to KSh200k.
— This is what I did —
Remove the air-cleaner box and find the two small DCT-fluid reservoirs. Do not touch the normal brake-fluid reservoir. Use a clean syringe, suck out the old fluid from both reservoirs, wipe them clean with a lint-free cloth, then refill each one to the same level with fresh DOT 4 fluid.
Do not bleed it or open any pipes. A full drain and bleed is a different job and needs the proper Honda diagnostic procedure.
Put everything back, drive normally for about 30 km, then repeat the syringe-and-refill process. Drive another 30–50 km and do it once more. The fresh fluid gradually mixes with the old fluid in the system, so each round leaves it much cleaner.
This is for the older Honda i-DCD DCT hybrids, including many Fits, Shuttles and Vezels. Not every Honda hybrid uses this setup, so first confirm that yours has those two small reservoirs under the air-cleaner box.
Very small job that could potentially save you a lot of money
Transmission issues on a Honda Vezel have become quite prevalent. The common failure points for the dual clutch transmission are on the clutches and the release bearing.
I think considering doing a rebuild of this gearbox is not a bad idea because the quotation price for this gearboxs is mad! Over 250K

Turning a disaster that killed hundreds into proof that your god plays favorites is how religion works. Religion is a cancer.
