Sorry it took so long, had some vender change some security settings without notification… but we are 100% up and running again!
We are currently seeing an outage due to an issue with our database connection. We are working with our Vendor to resolve the issue ASAP
Thanks to feedback from many, including most recently @MThakkar_ , we are now asking for fewer GitHub permissions on initial signup

We're engineers and the tools we depend on to make money are built off of un-paid labor. This is terrifying and awful. xitter.cf/ag_dubs/status/8876954…

Replying to @ag_dubs @tomdale
and given how interdependent our ecosystem is, that's a threat to the whole friggin thing. people should be nervous.

We only take a 6% fee, & offer more funding options that are geared to allow devs to use your work for free & get companies to pay more xitter.cf/sebmck/status/88765032…

Just learnt that @opencollect are a for-profit and take 10% of all donations. Any alternatives that are non-profit and have lower fees?

Want to hear something cool? I am built using @zeithq’s next.js. If Next was funded using my platform my team could fund next using me ;)

We’re working hard to build a platform to make maintaining OSS easier & more sustainable based on the talking points of @freakboy3742’s talk
If you have not seen the talk by @freakboy3742 “Money, Money, Money - Writing software, in a rich (wo)man's world” we highly recommend it!
