Nationalism will be (already is) Latinos’ downfall
Replying to @brujacontumbao
They are proud of their cultures and are nationalistic in a way everyone seems to think that means they must be more socially egalitarian and open-minded than they are but many of us know that nationalism to just just as backwards and fascist as any other types of nationalism

the only reason to prevent people working from home is the commercial landlords are losing money on their offices, and people are realising that a specific type of manager simply doesn’t have much to do all day unless they’re watching other people work and it embarrasses them
Remote work is a disability rights issue Being able to work from home should not be reversed. There is no real reason to do it

I need y’all to remember that BIPOC, most prominently Latiné based on CDC data, are living with #LongCovid, and largely undiagnosed, unsupported, and are being sucked into disability poverty. Ty @Univision for choosing this question to be asked.

this is a very emotional town hall. Harris takes a question from a homeless woman whose life was wrecked by long covid about what she'll do for people like her

So many people aren't engaging with Long Covid discourse because they'd rather not think about it possibly happening to them, but the odds are getting higher and higher - over 40% for a third infection.

Don't get too excited, there are still no known treatments for COVID. Maybe they'll mask at this clinic at least.

To the many getting c19 for the 1st time: - Sorry to hear it! Hoping for your fast recovery. - Good job delaying this long! We have treatment, know more about limiting household spread, etc. - Go easy on yourself, physically and mentally. Stress & worry don't help the healing!🧵

It was a queer, bratty summer, the summer they shot off Trump’s ear, and I didn't know what I was doing in New York.

I want a leftist woman climate scientist for president too. But please, English language viewers, take a look at Morena’s uniquely destructive environmental policy before celebrating the identity politics: the Tren Maya, new refinery, the highway through the Xochimilco wetlands.

This is her speech, then. In the claps and screams and beaming smiles, is a recognition of the message she would have shared at the podium. At the end of the day, they couldn’t stop her from sharing it.
