Key findings from Giottus' 1.3 million-user report: • Crypto Futures account for 57.22% of total trading volume, surpassing Spot at 42.78%. • 48% of Futures participants come from Tier-2 cities, compared to 31% from Tier-1 cities. • Futures participation grew 42.5% in February, followed by 28.5% in March, 35.3% in April, and 30.3% in May. • $BTC and $ETH together account for just 15.35% of Futures volume, as traders increasingly move toward altcoins like $SOL and $XRP. • Average leverage stands at 10x, while liquidation rates remained between 0.55% and 2.52%. The data suggests India's crypto market is expanding beyond metro cities, with Tier-2 investors increasingly driving derivatives adoption.
