The "Visioni d’Africa" calendar by CUAMM (Medici con l’Africa) for 2024, with illustrations by Giordano Poloni, has opted to move beyond its health-related mission across Africa, and instead celebrate African cinema. Following the 2003 focus on African literature, Poloni offers a modern interpretation of what could be potential film posters, capturing the essence of the selected films. Annamaria Gallone, in collaboration with CUAMM, wrote about the films and directors featured in the calendar. However, a list of these excluded works is compiled at the end of the calendar.
