Sam Altman: "And also that we are somehow in another one of those decisive periods where the curve can go one way or another like it was when we started 10 years ago"
Brian Chesky: "What do you think the biggest impacts are on getting this part of the curve right?"
Sam Altman: "I think like there are still major AI alignment issues to solve and safety issues. And there are still major economic issues, future of jobs, all of that kind of stuff.
But I think the fight of the current moment is, are we going to head to a world of AI authoritarianism or liberty?
Mutuals check.

Netflix stock ($NFLX): buying the dip or catching a falling knife?
Netflix just delivered a pretty solid quarter, so why did the stock get punished?
- Revenue hit $12.87B, up 11.8% year over year.
- Net income rose 44% to $3.66B, while operating margin reached 34.6%, up from 28.2% a year ago. Part of that margin beat came from the timing of expenses, so it doesn't necessarily mean profitability has permanently improved.
- But Q4 guidance disappointed, and Netflix cut its 2026 ad revenue forecast from roughly $3B to $2.7B.
here's what i'd be watching:
▸ the ad business: Netflix is building a new revenue stream beyond subscriptions, but its ad tools have taken longer to roll out than expected. The opportunity is there, but execution needs to catch up.
▸ the fight for attention: Live sports and podcasts could help keep viewers engaged, but imo they're not a substitute for great shows and films. Netflix still needs to give people a reason to keep coming back.
▸ the valuation: The stock was already down more than 40% over the past year before earnings. That might look tempting, but a big drop doesn't automatically make $NFLX cheap, especially with a weaker near-term outlook.
my verdict: HOLD.
i wouldn't write Netflix off. Revenue is growing and the business remains profitable, but i'd like to see better execution on advertising and a more convincing outlook before calling this a buying opportunity.
a good business can still be a bad entry at the wrong price.

rwas can go alot further....
since tether & paxos took the lead to tokenize usd & gold, other protocols have followed suit.
this race has continued endlessly, but i think we're overlooking what comes next.
this is where i see us heading:
• financial markets:
the original idea held issuers at gunpoint to tokenize rwas so investors can only hold their blockchain representation.
the next phase beyond this will be building financial markets around these assets, starting with trading and expanding into other financial products.
this will be handing the gun directly to participants to play with.
• beyond passive ownership:
an important part for issuers will be having control over who can hold them, ability to set jurisdictional restrictions & how redemptions work.
blockchains must accommodate these requirements to attract institutional capital.
• owning its own entire financial lifeblood:
rwas should be able to capture a full lifecycle.
in a nutshell, making it usable for collateral, hedging, lending or yield-generating strategies.
the goal is to make them productive financial assets.
it's no longer story that @injective is building towards this.
imo, these areas could give it a lasting edge over other competing chains:
1./ Injective already has 135 rwa perpetual markets, with over $5b in trading volume.
these assets trade on a fully onchain order book with shared liquidity across all dapps.
2./ in july 2026, they introduced injective mint, giving issuers the liberty of creating assets with administrative control and jurisdictional restriction.
the results:
+ they have gone ahead to tokenize $1b in mortgages, which will run up to $10b in coming months.
+ they're also tokenizing korean won which will aid onboarding giants like posco and LG which already undergone a pilot with them.
imo, the future of rwas is quietly taking shape on injective, and as adoption grows, its position in the rwa market will become more interesting.
being a youtube scriptwriter goes beyond just writing scripts and outlines.
it’s about accurately fact-checking claims while following the creator’s script structure and voice.
that’s the real skill.
