‘WEST PHILIPPINE SEA IS OURS!’
WATCH: Senator JV Ejercito addresses Beijing’s ambassador to Manila, Jing Quan, in an Instagram video, saying, “The West Philippines is ours!”
This follows the envoy’s threatening and undiplomatic claim that China could “easily win” if it used force against the Philippines during ongoing maritime disputes between the two countries. | 🎥: Ejercito/Instagram

We strongly condemn this illegal attack of the Chinese Coast Guard (CCG) against Filipino fishing boats, which left three fishermen injured and damaged their vessels. This is the first time that the Filipino fishing boats were directly struck by the CCG.
We call on the government to immediately file a formal protest against this latest act of aggression by China.
Hindi lang ito usapin ng teritoryo, kundi ng kabuhayan at karapatang pantao ng mga mangingisda.

ANGAT RESERVOIR AT ITS HIGHEST LEVEL FOR OCTOBER 12 SINCE 2015!
Heavy Habagat rains in August have replenished Angat Reservoir, which, together with the connected water supply system, provides about 90% of Metro Manila’s domestic water supply. This puts the metropolis in a favorable position to face a potentially strong El Niño.
If we manage our water wisely, conserve supplies, and minimize losses, we have a good chance of sustaining Metro Manila's water needs through the dry season until the rains return in mid-2027.
The 2026 Habagat rains have given us a head start. Now, it’s up to us to make every drop count.
For an analysis of the historical reservoir response to El Niño in the Angat–Ipo–La Mesa water supply system and its implications for Metro Manila’s water supply, please refer to the May 2026 report published by the UP Resilience Institute-NOAH Center (UP RI–NOAH):

A corporation linked to VP Sara Duterte that received a huge amount of money from China, as confirmed by the AMLC, should be further investigated by relevant agencies, as this concerns national security. Nakakabahala ito.
Cale88 Foods Corporation, one of the 15 corporations linked to Vice President Sara Duterte, has received more than P319 million from China and Hong Kong, based on suspicious transaction (STR) and covered transaction reports (CTR) presented by the AMLC.

‘THAT’S 5.7 PERCENTAGE POINTS MORE THAN ‘YUNG 80 PERCENTAGE POINTS NUNG KAKILALA NAMIN NI ATTY. VINLUAN’
Defense lawyer Mark Vinluan moves to strike out a portion of private prosecutor Mae Divinagracia’s comment on Bar rating percentage.
“I placed tenth po sa Bar po noong 2015,” witness Anti-Money Laundering Council (AMLC) executive director Ronel Buenaventura replied when asked about his educational background.
“Kung pwede ko pong maitanong, Atty. Buenaventura, ano po ang inyong naging Bar rating kung inyo po itong naaalala?” Divinagracia asked.
“85.75 po, your honor,” the witness replied.
“85.75, sorry your honor, naalala ko lang po that’s 5.7 percentage points more than ‘yung 80 percentage points nung kakilala namin ni Atty. Vinluan,” Divinagracia remarked.
“Objection, your honor, move to strike out that portion of the comments. I don’t think that’s relevant,” Vinluan objected.

This goes beyond the impeachment.
