A man was struck by a vehicle operated by ICE officials in Harris County, Texas, on Saturday morning, according to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.
In a statement, an ICE spokesperson said agents were conducting a targeted enforcement operation to arrest the man, whom the agency described as a criminal illegal alien from Mexico. According to the spokesperson, the man had four prior arrests for driving under the influence and one for unlawful possession of a firearm. The spokesperson said agents were attempting to apprehend the man when he ran in front of an ICE vehicle and was struck.

This morning, the federal government turned the full force of the Department of Homeland Security against a sitting member of Congress for the offense of disagreeing with the White House.
The path to citizenship should not be weaponized against anyone, including Rep. Ilhan Omar, a naturalized American who swore an oath to this country — the same one that I took.
