💰 STORE Weekly Update
This week has been filled with significant progress and exciting developments across various fronts as we continue to build the foundation for the future of decentralized cloud computing and AI governance.
🚀 Introducing Transactions Per Second on CLEAR
We are thrilled to announce that we are on the cusp of introducing a groundbreaking metric to the CLEAR protocol: transactions per second. This first-of-its-kind metric will bring together on-chain payments, off-chain payments, compliance requirements, and other essential elements to process transactions seamlessly within the STORE economy. By bridging traditional and blockchain transactions, CLEAR positions STORE as the first protocol to seamlessly integrate real-world and blockchain-based economic activities.
🌐 Novel Web Service for Brand-Token Holder Relationships
Our research team has begun developing a novel web service that enables brands to have direct relationships with the owners of their tokens on STORE. In a world where every major brand has a memecoin, STORE can serve as the permanently stored communication and programming layer between the brand and its holders. As our early architectural designs come together, we look forward to sharing more details about this exciting development.
🏗️ Building Infrastructure for STORE Governance
We're making steady progress in developing the infrastructure for the treasury, security, execution, and judicial branches of STORE Governance. Our team is working on three key protocols to automate and scale STORE's economy:
1. 🌐 CLEAR Protocol: Automates payments and compliance, enabling seamless money flow through the STORE economy.
2. 📊 LEDGER Protocol: Tackles the challenge of reporting and tax compliance for the STORE economy.
3. 🌍 ATLAS Protocol: Serves as a logistics and communication system within the STORE protocol, facilitating public reporting of governance activities.
🔬 The Importance of STORE's BFT Democracy Experiment
STORE's BFT Democracy experiment is crucial in addressing the humanity-scale challenge of AI governance. Our novel approach is designed to upgrade itself efficiently, optimizing for correctness as data rolls in. It incentivizes AI innovation and AI safety to co-exist in a manner that mathematically guarantees human supermajority control over AI itself. This experiment is a vital step towards ensuring the responsible development and deployment of AI technologies.
💼 Updating Fundraising Materials and Expanding Efforts
We are finalizing an update to our fundraising materials to better communicate our focus on verifiable high-performance cloud computing. In the coming week, we plan to send an investor update showcasing CLEAR, STORE transactions, and our fundraising progress. Following this, we will be expanding our efforts to reach a wider audience.
🇨🇭 Pressing Forward with STORE Democracy in Switzerland
Next week, we expect to have significant engagement with our lawyers in Switzerland to finalize the remaining details on our ability to execute STORE Democracy within the country. We will also be accelerating the process of intellectual property valuation and transfer from the United States to Switzerland.
💖 Gratitude for the STORE Community
We want to express our heartfelt gratitude to the STORE community for their unwavering support. Your belief in our mission is the driving force behind our tireless efforts to bring STORE to launch. As we continue to build across multiple fronts, we remain committed to delivering a platform that empowers developers, entrepreneurs, and creators to harness the full potential of cloudspace.

Quick Update: Building Infrastructure for STORE Governance 🏗️
We're making steady progress in developing the infrastructure for the treasury, security, execution, and judicial branches of STORE Governance. Our team is working on three key protocols to automate and scale STORE's economy, ensuring it is publicly auditable and manageable while complying with regulations in Switzerland, the United States, and beyond.
1. 🌐 CLEAR Protocol
CLEAR automates payments and compliance, enabling seamless money flow through the STORE economy. It supports both on-chain transactions for crypto assets and off-chain transactions, starting with US dollars, USDC, BTC, ETH, and STORE. The public can access reports on CLEAR activity directly in the STORE protocol, with the protocol itself covering the costs of permanent storage. This is a critical step towards establishing an autonomous global economy for computing and AI.
2. 📊 LEDGER Protocol
LEDGER tackles the challenge of reporting and tax compliance for the STORE economy. Maintaining compliance across multiple currencies and jurisdictions is a significant hurdle in the industry today. By automating accounting and billing processes, LEDGER aims to streamline financial management for crypto-related projects and companies.
3. 🌍 ATLAS Protocol
ATLAS serves as a logistics and communication system within the STORE protocol. It enables branches to propose, vote on, and implement protocols under a system of checks and balances, ensuring democratic consensus on all matters, including payments. Once operational, ATLAS will facilitate public reporting of governance activities across all branches, up to the governor board and governor DAO.
Our ongoing investment in permanent storage, on-chain verification, and public reporting forms the bedrock upon which these protocols will be built. By developing these tools, we are positioning ourselves as a globally governed, publicly auditable economy. The team has been dedicating significant effort to this endeavor, and I am confident that we are progressing at the optimal pace with the right talent to bring these infrastructural components to fruition and prepare for the launch of STORE.

Quick Update: STORE Democracy - Tools for Treasury and Execution Branches 🏛️
We have two important updates regarding the development of internal tools for STORE Democracy:
1. 💰 Treasury Branch: We're creating tools to facilitate the approval of payments in and out of the protocol, with built-in checks and balances. Our treasury team will be able to send payments, collect bills, and account for everything in real time, whether it's cash or crypto. This ensures a trust-minimized, efficient process within STORE Governance.
2. 🛠️ Execution Branch (Engineering): We're developing tools for STORE Development Proposals, which standardize how the executive branch, led by the engineering department, proposes new technology to the protocol. These proposals will undergo checks and balances and may include investment for technology development. This creates a repeatable, scalable process that enables ambitious goals through innovative technology.
By enshrining these tools and processes at the resource level within our governance, we'll be the first protocol to establish checks and balances for both the Treasury and Execution branches. This supports our vision for a transparent, accountable, and efficiently managed ecosystem.

Office of Chairwoman Stefanik released the following statement:
“This morning, Congresswoman Elise Stefanik, her husband, and their three year old son were driving home to Saratoga County from Washington for Thanksgiving when they were informed of a bomb threat to their residence. New York State, County law enforcement, and U.S. Capitol Police responded immediately with the highest levels of professionalism. We are incredibly appreciative of the extraordinary dedication of law enforcement officers who keep our communities safe 24/7. We want to share our best wishes to the Upstate NY community for a happy and safe Thanksgiving. We are especially grateful to our law enforcement officers and military families who are on duty over the holiday season.”

STORE vs Solana vs Eigen
—————————
I think STORE has potential to be three things in one, "raising the bar”:
a. Being integrated from the hardware layer up, a network of optimized datacenters, consensus can happen in parallel and applications can execute most loads at web2 cloud speed.
b. A hardware-integrated protocol focussed on functioning as the traditional cloud from a deployment, (multicurrency cross-chain) billing, and tax perspective. It's becomes more programmable due to direct chain integrations and traditional cloud API endpoints, opening new possibilities for asset creation by mixing the best of both worlds.
c. Various chain integrations are possible, aside from the native chain where data can viably live in a trust-minimized environment. This contrasts with offloading storage off-chain with only a hash, where the actual data could get compromised.
Where Solana aims to be a verifiable blockchain and Eigen a verifiable network of roll-ups, STORE is the verifiable high-performance cloud. This approach aims to bridge the gap between traditional cloud computing and blockchain tech, realizing verifiability at the cloud infrastructure level.
This means to effectively commoditize programmable energy, compute and data, potentially enabling human-AI collaboration and ownership on a different level.
Did I mention consensus is leaderless?!
Good things take time. @thestorecloud is working on this. Full disclosure: I hold STORE tokens. I'm not paid to say this; I'm a long-time investor. My skin here is significant.
Institutional investors might want to take note. They are raising funds. Don’t sleep on this one.

Solana vs Ethereum
—————
This is the Solana take: “build a state machine that synchronizes with as low a latency as possible globally” to paraphrase @toly
It is a complex Pareto point that will neither
a) be as performant as nasdaq
b) nor as programmable as the cloud
c) nor as verifiable as Bitcoin.
————-
a) because you need global consensus
b) because you can only express within the Solana VM gas limits and programming restrictions
c) because you jacked up node requirements
————-
Rollups + Eigenlayer + Ethereum gives you all three
a) rollups can give instant confirmation as performant as web2
b) incorporate arbitrary decentralized verifiable tasks on Eigenlayer so you get cloud-scale programmability, and
c) Rollups and Eigenlayer all settle on Ethereum which requires trivial requirements to validate
So it’s the ***best of all worlds***.
