I don’t think I can watch the news anymore, what with the Orange Chump having his nose up the β€˜bears’ backside!

I was six years old, but I have never ever forgotten the children of Aberfan, the sadness of watching the news at such a young age and my parents explaining what had happened.

Very productive morning, living room rug shampooed and drain in the sun, cushion covers and throws on the line, carrot, sweet potato and coriander soup made for lunch, supermarket shop done. It’s amazing what a good nights sleep and some sunshine can do for my mood.

All quiet on the bee front until early spring, hives at the club will be checked periodically. Our own hives will sit in the loft until we have our bees, then we can set them up.

I was just reminiscing that years ago electrical appliances often came without a fitted plug and you had to wire them up……not sure I could wire a plug these days.

The County of Northumberland is a rugged shire. The largest town of Northumberland is Newcastle upon Tyne. The city stands on the north bank of the Tyne, but beyond this, Northumberland is rural and sparsely populated.

Just had a look at the new exhibition at The Museum Of Cornish Life, Helston where I volunteer, the Cornish Tapestry is breathtakingly beautiful and well worth a look, there’s also a film presentation about the Bayeux tapestry kresenkernow.org/our-collect…
