Built a tiny async runtime in Rust from scratch to understand what Tokio actually does.
Biggest lesson: a future never waits. It tries, leaves its waker, and returns Pending. The kernel watches, the executor sleeps.
It spawns, blocks, runs timers, handles cancellation, uses mio for sockets, and runs a TCP echo server on one thread.
