really believed that an update to Looker Studio GA4 connector is on the way, and will be released by the end of the month. Today it indeed rolled out. 100+ new dimensions and metrics were added - and yes, including the Bounce rate! Go check it out.

Google Analytics has finally put a date on the loss of historical data: For free customers, you will stop collecting data in Universal Analytics as of July 1, 2023. But you will still have access to view and export all previous data until July 1, 2024: support.google.com/analytics…

Item-scoped custom dimensions are rolling out to #GoogleAnalytics4. You can register 10 item-scoped CDs in free GA4 and 25 in the paid version. These dimensions (or parameters) are NOT included in the BigQuery export in this release. support.google.com/analytics… #measure

Custom Channel Groups are rolling out for GA4. You can access them in all your reports except for the Conversion/Attribution Modeling/Conversions Path report. Also not available in BigQuery.

So useful: opt-out of the "forced" UA -> GA4 migration with a Google Sheet. You can choose property-by-property which ones to opt-out. Do it. docs.google.com/spreadsheets… #googleanalytics4 #measure
