Happy 44th Birthday to the most underrated Ghostface killer in the ‘Scream’ franchise, Anna Camp. Absolutely LOVED her in ‘Scream 7’ as Jessica — wish we could have seen more, but she ~killed~ it nonetheless.

The only mention of Sam Carpenter I want in a new ‘Scream’ film is a one-off comment from an extra with 1 line saying Sam went missing in a hot air balloon, never to be seen again. Leading to an assumed off-camera death never to be mentioned in the franchise as nobody cares. 🫶🏼

So when Neve Campbell publicly revealed she wasn’t being paid fairly as a woman in Hollywood for ‘Scream VI’, Melissa Barrera still returned for the film and cashed that fat cheque. Women supporting women — never heard of it. Melissa aggressively pushed the “fired from ‘Scream 7’” narrative, only to later go on record saying her two-movie contract simply wasn’t renewed and that she wasn’t fired — yet apparently everyone else was expected to give up a paying job in solidarity with her. Apparently solidarity only became mandatory once the cheque stopped being hers.
