Disclaimer: this is a funny video- nothing more, nothing less. I did not eat this chicken. This is a demonstration of the industrial processing steps used in mass-produced rotisserie chickens. Costco is not literally soaking the chicken in bleach- they source cheap chickens that have gone through a similar, low-concentration chlorine bath (a practice that’s banned in the EU). They’re also not using industrial cleaner TSP for the trisodium phosphate, they’re using a food-grade equivalent. Chlorine washes, brine injections, and food additives like TSP, carrageenan, and modified starches are all approved for use in food. This video does not claim that eating Costco’s rotisserie chicken will directly harm you. It’s meant to shed light on how highly processed even “simple” foods can be- especially when mass-produced for consistency, cost-cutting, and shelf stability. When food additives or food-grade plastic are described as “safe,” remember that we often lack long-term studies on their full effects. While these ingredients may be “generally recognized as safe” in small amounts, I personally see no benefit in consuming them at all. At the end of the day, eat what you want- but be informed about what you’re actually eating.

Recipe ⬇️ Costco lamb loin chop 🥩 Ingredients: Costco lamb loin chop - 1 Organic yellow onion - about 5 medium sized Organic carrots - 4-5 Organic celery - 4-5 Organic thyme and rosemary- one each @kettleandfire grass fed bone broth- cup Sea salt Preparation: Sear lamb in ghee until golden. Preheat oven to 250f. Set aside. Add veggies. Reduce the heat to medium. Add @kettleandfire bone broth, about one cup- don’t cover the lamb with the bone broth we want to braise it low and slow. Just add in salt, herbs, cover and in the oven for 4 hours. I also love to use this method for any other brothy beef bowl recipe with different Kettle and Fire broths. Let it rest and enjoy!

I flew to NYC because of a rotisserie chicken.. We're all loaded with plastic since before we're even born- but if there's one thing I learned from Dr. Shanna Swan and The Plastic Detox- the impact of the simple swaps we make is massive for our health and fertility. It's so meaningful that it's our obligation to do it, talk about it and spread the word. We can't give up all plastic- but hot, greasy food sitting in plastic is one of the worst. Start there, remove synthetic fragrance, and slowly work these swaps into your routine to unplastic your life. Watch The Plastic Detox on Netflix- then send this to someone who still buys the chicken. And of course I didn't eat it #Minderoopartner

Disclaimer: this is a funny video- nothing more, nothing less. This video is for entertainment and educational purposes only- do not replicate these steps at home. This video does not claim that using mainstream toilet paper will directly harm you- I’m just asking questions about stuff we use every single day without thinking about it. When making toilet paper they’re not literally blasting the pulp with a gas canister in the factory- chlorine dioxide is made on site and used dissolved in water. As for the formaldehyde- they used to use formaldehyde-based resins in tp and since it’s not fully disclosed if they still do, it could possibly still be in there. We also did not recreate any specific brand here- this is based on publicly available industry documents and patents. When these chemicals are described as “safe in small amounts” remember that we often lack long-term studies on long term exposure- I personally see no benefit in using these every single day. We can’t avoid this stuff everywhere all of the time but in our own house we get to choose what we use. At home we use a bidet and bamboo-based, unbleached toilet paper. We use @plant_paper - you can use code GFBEEF for a discount if you want to try it. At the end of the day use what you want- but be informed about what goes into it

Disclaimer: All of the products shown have ingredients that are petroleum derived or synthesized using petrochemicals. Consuming these is NOT equivalent to consuming straight petroleum. This is a funny video- nothing more, nothing less. I did not actually consume the products shown. Everything in this video contains microplastics, plasticizers, petrochemicals, or synthetics that can enter your body through ingestion, inhalation, or skin absorption. To be clear- ALL of these products are generally considered safe when used as directed and are used by millions of people every single day. I made this video to shed light on how normalized our daily exposure to these has become- from our morning coffee to our bedsheets. I’m not saying something will happen from using any one of these- however, microplastics have now been found in human placentas, blood, lungs, and brain tissue- that can’t be good, don’t let anyone tell you otherwise. Also we do not have enough long-term studies on all of the different petroleum derived ingredients, how they interact with each other, and our biology. I personally do not see any benefit in consuming these regularly- I just see it as a major downside risk that could compound over time. Hope this video makes you laugh and/or think twice about what you’re consuming daily.

Snickers recipe made entirely with clean, healthy ingredients. Ingredients: Organic macadamias- 4oz we used @goodsamfoods Pure maple syrup- a splash, we used @eatsticky.co Organic medjool dates- 5 dates Organic crunchy peanut butter- about 2tbs, we used @onetrickponynuts Organic unsweetened chocolate- 1/2 cup Preparation: In a food processor macadamia- till it becomes butter. Add a splash of maple and mix. In a small container (we use @caraway_home ceramic) add unbleached parchment paper, and spread the butter we just made. In the same food processor- dates + splash of filtered water. Mix. And that’s our caramel layer and main sweetener. Spread on top of macadamia butter. And last layer is high quality crunchy peanut butter. Flatten and in the fridge to set. Then it is as simple as covering in chocolate (if you use unsweetened you can add a splash of maple to it), let it set in the freezer again and enjoy the healthiest Snickers bar you ever had! It also tastes wayyyyyyyyyyyy better
