I genuinely cannot be in community with people who struggle to apologise when they hurt someone intentionally or not. I just think it’s pathetic. Regardless of if it’s pride or shame, having to force an apology or empathy out of a grown adult is a major red flag.

Some people have to pretend like you’re a bad person when they’re threatened by the purity of your heart, the depth of your authenticity, and the radiance of your light. It’s not about you. It’s about their inability to accept you in your totality.
People often reject what they cannot receive, comprehend, or appreciate. And so, it becomes easier to create a version of you they can easily criticize and condemn than to welcome the fullness of who you are.
