Today we fired up some ALPHA v0.1 prototypes testing different voltages & wattages. Seven distinct manufacturers tested as well. This is a crucial step before our lab IP tests begin! Excited to share more progress with you all! 🎈 and excuse the mess 🤷‍♂️

With the Alpha kit, the N-type antenna end directly attaches to the u.fl connector on your @helium spot’s LoRa concentrator. We designed the system to have the most minimal signal loss and get rid of the need to run and crimp bulky LMR400 cable 😉

Spent an evening mapping gaps at UCLA and determined that the decoder for tbeam wasn’t correctly configured 🤦‍♂️ Next thing we’ll tackle is pre-configured and onboarded #mappers for the @helium community
