there is a large gap from "programming language types with conservative/simple syntax to cover 60-70% common" and "zomg exotic higher order type syntax that's turing complete and I ported Doom to it".
why don't devs see the former is useful and the latter is mental illness?

McDonald's announced they're investing $8,500,000,000 in their restaurants to try and make a comeback.
This includes implementing a lot more AI to automate tasks and new, healthy menu items like grilled chicken, egg bites and protein bowls.

when I was teaching FP and I claimed the CPU heat produced by a statement or program are "side effects" people balked and rolled their eyes at me.

It cannot both be the case that Lindsay Clancy killed her children because she believed they were better off dead *and* that she killed her children because a commanding voice suddenly took control of her body, and the former does not absolve a killer of criminal responsibility.
lemme ask you a question... if you poured out all the pieces of a puzzle, turned them backside up, threw away the picture on the box, and proceeded to brute-force match every piece with every other... 500! tries. if you ever finished... have you "put together a puzzle"?

The lone juror in the Lindsay Clancy trial repeatedly got irritated by how the mostly female jury would blabber over eachother, according to the Daily Mail.
The black juror grew irritated when everyone talked at once and preferred to speak with his wife and watch videos on his phone.
"He would get upset and say, 'Listen to what she's saying, listen to what he's saying, be respectful,'" juror Paula Devlin told the Daily Mail.
"... He would get upset and just take all this time lecturing us about not being respectful."

A juror from the Lindsay Clancy trial says the lone holdout shocked the panel during deliberations by using an exercise band and water bottle to mimic how Clancy killed her children.
Nick Dargie, 25, told “Good Morning America” he was stunned by the demonstration, saying, “We’re not in here to play detective.” He said he believes a retrial would find Clancy not criminally responsible “nine times out of 10.”
