One of my favorite changes in Bootstrap 6 is token maps. They’re Sass maps for CSS variables that get emitted on component class or `:root`, meaning no matter how you customize Bootstrap (in Sass or compiled CSS), you’re just writing CSS. Stoked we came up with this solution.

The nostalgia seeing this homepage is crazy I remember copy pasta’ing the ever living crap outta those three basic templates at the bottom of the page In many ways, bootstrap kicked off the modern SV dev scene as we know it. Design system w/ variables, components, etc. It took the ecosystem the following 9 years of the decade to fully flesh these core ideas out with things like React, storybook, etc @fat @mdo are goated. Also, honored to have stackblitz powering the live examples on the bootstrap site the past years!
