people really do equate adulthood to unhappiness and that’s why i’m careful of who i allow in my soft ass life. cuz they gon think it’s their job to try and punish and shame you into unhappiness.

Creer que un hombre es mujer si "se identifica" como tal.
¿Cuál es una señal de muy baja inteligencia?

one of the most annoying things nowadays is people getting characters who make bad decisions confused with badly written characters

Just as a general rule I think if your criticism of something is worded in the format of ‘this fucking sucks and you’re an idiot for liking it’ then you can’t really get mad when people get annoyed by your choice of wording

you can have empathy & compassion for all human beings & still vehemently reject gender ideology & transgenderism btw. those 2 are not inherently mutually exclusive.

I think "reading a book is performative" is the end point of American anti-intellectualism. The mere act of reading is now suspicious to swaths of slug people.

my ultra controversial opinion is that it's so fucking strange how everyone loses their shit if a dog gets hurt in a movie but violence against cats is often used for comic punch
Its ok to not care for cats but for me the red flag is when people use the word "hate". Also if you dared say this about dogs, people will lose their shit but cats it seems to be perfectly ok. Me? I don't care for certain dogs but I don't hate them. Just not for me.

"25+ year olds shouldn't be in fandom spaces" I've been in fandom spaces since I was 14 and I'm gonna be in fandom spaces till my death. Go cry about it

why can people not understand that enjoying something in fiction does not equate to supporting it irl. ah yes. let me go read my book with perfect characters who do nothing wrong ever. how boring would that be. give me more morally reprehensible characters

I hate modern fandom because too many people can't just enjoy a series with morally reprehensible characters without being annoying about it
