Get psyched for the Geriatrics Literature Update at #AGS24! My wife Cindy (pictured bottom left) made one prop already. Can you guess the song and parody? For the uninitiated, here’s a view of a prior update: youtu.be/XTtE5DDf0Fw?si=5uEx…

Words cannot express the incredible, sudden loss of our beloved Sharon Kaufman over the weekend 😢💔 Incredibly grateful to have spent time with her recently and holding her family, loved ones, and all those touched by her presence in my heart. 1/ #anthrotwitter

I love it when a leading organization chooses health and health care over caution, tradition and all things that too often limit the impact of medical organizations. I hope many more will follow suit. Bravo @NEJM! #MedTwitter Dying in a Leadership Vacuum nejm.org/doi/full/10.1056/NE…
Treatment of home care workers during COVID should provoke outrage. We need regulatory change to support these skilled professionals.
Replying to @geri_doc
A large proportion of home health workers are women of color and immigrants. Allison notes that their poor treatment has its genesis in structural racism. The findings of @mad_sters is a call to action. We need structural reforms /7
