I want to properly close out an incredibly impactful part of my life. After countless Twitch streams and 68 YouTube videos, I retired from making Azur Lane and gacha gaming content nearly three years ago. In those three years, I’ve: • Gotten married • Landed a job in my dream industry • Adopted a second cat • Become an above-average Frieren enthusiast • Rediscovered old hobbies But most importantly: • Made new, close, and lasting friends across the country directly because I created content for Azur Lane You guys, my former Twitch and YouTube audience, were there for me during a difficult time in my life. Streaming gave me an outlet and a way to connect with people at a time when I needed it most. I’ll always be grateful to every single person who ever watched a stream, hung out with me, or left a comment on one of my videos. Whether you were there every stream or just stopped by once, you were part of something that ended up meaning far more to me than I ever expected when I started. I was also incredibly lucky for some of those connections to turn into genuine, lasting friendships. People I still talk to, play games with, travel to see, and consider some of my closest friends. Heck, three of them were at my wedding. This was difficult to do, but I think it’s time to properly close out Gerdo the Azur Lane content creator and make this page about the person I am now. Gerdo the cat dad that really likes Frieren and dabbles in TCGs a bit again. But from Gerdo the Azur Lane content creator, one last time: Thank you, from the bottom of my heart!

Accidentally did a thing with @DetectiveFluffs 😅 Decent pulls but no CSR 😔 Two Liminal Guide, two Regal Inquisition, and a Cheshire Cat at least! #GrandArchive

My Twitter feed is filled with Japanese Trainers in LA trying American food and raving about it with pictures of their plushie pendants. It's so endearing, I wonder if they feel the same way about foreigners doing the same in Japan? 🤔 Anyway here's a cool foam art latte I had in Japan last year. We're all the same aren't we? 😂

Packed for LA! 🧳 First GA regionals, let's get it 🔥 #GrandArchive

Man I'll never forget during the Starcraft 2 days watching iNcontroL stream, IdrA ragequit a perfectly winnable game, and HuK mass hallucinate void rays; then during their League of Legends stint meeting @snoopeh irl (pictured). I still have the hoodie! Thanks for everything EG!

My first 3-0! 10/16 Grand Archive locals! Water Astra Diana 3-0 ⭕️⭕️ Wind Exia Dante ⭕️⭕️ Fire Crux Lorraine ⭕️❌⭕️ Fire Aggro Suited Same picture, same deck! Played a lot cleaner this time and felt really settled into the deck's winning image. Still missed one Lost Providence activation but progress is progress! Store Championship tomorrow will be a stronger stress test on my capabilities with this deck. Greatly looking forward to it! 10/16 Grand Archive Locals！

Long overdue!

10/14 Grand Archive locals! Water Astra Diana "2-1" ⭕️⭕️ Fire Umbra Ciel ❌⭕️❌ Water Genbu Guo Jia ⭕️⭕️ Opponent dropped New week, new deck! I've been bouncing around a bit on what to play but I think I am starting to lock it in, which ironically enough, is right back where we started -- with a(n upgraded) starter deck. Astra Diana has the steepest learning curve of any other deck I've played so far for sure. Tracking glimpses is trickier than I expected. Also if I had a dollar for every time I forgot to bring out Lost Providence I would've been able to pay for my entry fee. I made lots of misplays but also learned a ton. I'll need a few more reps before I feel comfortable enough on it but I enjoyed playing it a lot! Looking forward to Store Champs this weekend! ────────── 10/14 Grand Archive Locals！

Registered for my first Store Championship this Sunday! Super excited to play in my first event above locals. Good warmup for LA regionals in a week and a half! 🔥 #GrandArchive

I was feeling bummed out as some real life commitments were preventing me from being able to play in my two local Grand Archive regionals. So I did the natural thing and will be flying to LA for the LA regionals! ✈️ My first Grand Archive regionals and my fourth regionals for any TCG. Wish me luck!

Can we keep Seiryuu banned forever uwu #grandarchive

Amazing birthday presents from the wife and family: Box of RDO and a Frieren watch. They know me so well 🙏🥲

Better late than never! 9/25 Grand Archive Locals Water Aetherwing Diana 2-0-1 ⭕️⭕️ Fire Diana ⭕️❌➖ Water Neos Tonoris ⭕️❌⭕️ Fire Umbra Ciel The Diana Aetherwing starter deck was my first Grand Archive deck, so it was really fun to finally run this version for the first time. Made plenty of misplays, but learned a lot, especially in the Fire Umbra Ciel matchup. I think I’ll keep playing this for a little while!

My turn! "Shaping me" was a tough criteria as I got into anime later in my life, however all of these definitely influenced my life in some way, shape, or form. These series have got me further into card games, let me discover a love for JDM cars, realize that I'm a sucker for peak romcoms, pushed me towards reading manga, and last but not least, I really like Frieren.
