ㅤ their kitchen smells faintly of soy and butter by the time he’s done, rice still steaming, a sunny side up egg with yolk perfectly intact. “not burnt,” he claims with pride, even if some edges looks a little too toasted and a plate of hotdogs beside it, crisped just right. ㅤ

It just amazes me how some people can hold back even when they’re under so much stress. Choosing to be the bigger person, staying kind, never exploding. I raised my voice at someone earlier… and now I just feel really bad about it.
