You can’t afford a house. You can’t afford a car. You can’t afford a family. You can’t even afford a burrito. This system offers you absolutely nothing and still expects you to pay your taxes and die for Israel

Welcome to the Singularity. It’s freaking hot in here. It’s a very pensive day for anyone who took pride in their ability to solve well defined problems. For those who think this is a small feat, you have no idea. Claude Shannon well-defined the mathematical theory of communication and it took 70 years and A WHOLE COMMUNITY of world class scientists to solve that problem. This created the wireless revolution. If you had AGI (Astra) in 1948, you would have solved it in a few hours for $200 and created the wireless revolution. Today is that day. We are limited by what questions we can make well posed. Not by the ability to solve them 🤯

More opensource goodness. We have just released a CLI and TypeScript SDK for finding, validating, and fixing security vulnerabilities in your code. Scan repositories, review changes, track findings over time, and run security checks in CI. github.com/openai/codex-secu…

I think his psychedelic abuse inadvertently turned him into some cringe gnostic soothsayer. Broadly speaking, gnostics believe the purpose of life is to achieve personal enlightenment, and that we all contain a divine, God-like “spark” within us. This is what he was going on about, and was alluding to the fact that we are all gods, and that it’s just up to us to reach enlightenment to actualize our divinity. From a Christian perspective, equating one’s self with God is blasphemous, which is exactly what Lucifer did before he was cast into hell. We also do not contain a divine spark within us. We are made in the image and likeness of God, but we do not possess his divine nature in any capacity. I guarantee this guy tripped a bunch and was subverted by literal demons, who led him (and probably many others) to believe that he was obtaining god-like knowledge and that he himself was a god. Read Genesis 3. “…For God knows that when you eat from it, your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.” It sounds silly but this stuff is very real, and the more I see people like Connor talking in this way, the more I am starting to believe that psychedelics actually lead you to self-destruction, not self-actualization, because it deals with the demonic and not the divine.

IBM just unveiled a sub-1 nanometer chip breakthrough. That honestly wasnt on my bingo card. Its new 0.7 nm / 7 angstrom technology uses a 3D "nanostack" transistor architecture to vertically stack and stagger transistors. IBM says it can fit nearly 100 billion transistors onto a chip the size of a fingernail, almost 2x the density of its 2 nm chip from 2021. • up to 50% more performance • or 70% better energy efficiency • 40% SRAM scaling for AI workloads Important caveat: this is still research, not a chip shipping tomorrow. IBM says production could happen as early as the next 5 years.
The world’s first sub‑1 nanometer node chip is here. Delivering 70% greater energy efficiency, this breakthrough powers a new era of computing that’s more capable while using less energy. Dig into this next-gen tech: ibm.co/6016EOHpM

Bro I'm so sick of pretending this isn't weird. The internet spent 20 years creating tutorials, open-source projects, blog posts & answers for free. AI companies turned all of it into products worth billions. And now the same people who created that knowledge are being told they're replaceable. We built the library. Someone else started charging admission.

I just signed a legally binding contract under penalty of perjury. The terms are simple: if I break any one of my promises as Florida Governor, I cannot run for re-election. Politicians in both parties have lied to us. That ends with me.

🇮🇱🇨🇾 Security at a Cyprus airport stopped a 24-year-old Israeli man and found 4 human embryos in his luggage, stored in a cryogenic container labeled "Life Pack," bound for Mexico via Istanbul. The embryos came from an IVF clinic in northern Nicosia operating without proper authorization. No health ministry approval had been issued to remove them from the country. He's charged with illegal transport of human tissue. The embryos are in evidence. The question nobody's answered yet: whose embryos were they, and who was waiting for them in Mexico?
