At a minimum, I would like a reason given for our dismissal, because without a reason I will only have my own documentation to show, regarding how Gen Con addressed issues of both race and disability.

The GCWS committee was informed tonight by @Gen_Con, with no reason given, that we our show went "really well" but no people on the committee will be invited back next year.
I request a meeting with Mr. Adkison, and want to make sure my friend @TheEdVerse is aware.
In sadness, we join in sharing: Friend of GCWS and 2024 Featured Speaker Howard Andrew Jones has been diagnosed with brain cancer, which is expected to be fatal.
We are grateful to Howard for sharing his brilliance and kind spirit with our writing communities.
Fun Alert: Friend of GCWS Maker Fishmeal has a new #CosplayBook funding now on BackerKit: backerkit.com/c/projects/mak…
(And yes, this *includes* the trade edition of this year's @Gen_Con Anthology - edited by Toiya Kristen Finley and featuring Linda D. Addison!)
So we're getting new follows on 🦋 - we don't know why, but we're going to celebrate! Today only, just concocted: 28% off everything plus a free book. Let people know? 🌞 #SmallPress #SupportBoldIndies -E.

A post alleging comments made by Cat Rambo is circulating. These comments were not made, we stand 100% with Cat Rambo, and we encourage our communities to maintain vigilance against misinformation and its goals without giving air or comfort to such plainly undisguised efforts.

I had a blast at #GenCon2024. I reconnected with old friends, made some new ones, and sat in on some great panels. The best part was meeting a long-time F&SF reader who said my story, Dontay's Bones, has stuck with him more than any other story he's read in the magazine.
Great to see old friends, new friends, readers, writers, and several of my editors #GenCon2024 #GenCon #CatRambo #LancelotSchaubert #LindaDAddison #DedrenSnead #DanianJerry
Thanks to @ThunderEternal @dedren_snead @Karen_Menzel and @GeorgeCBell for their work putting this together.
I recorded the Exciting Possibilities of Trustworthy AI panel at @gencon @genconwriters for the reasons I created it: to help further our community understanding of AI so we can better fight harmful intent and application. I hope it is of some interest. youtu.be/noP5VKw_hwU

You were all amazing. And your how to query panel was gold. I feel so much more confident now than I have for months. And other writers told me they felt the same.

An amazing time at @Gen_Con @genconwriters. I'm so proud of our community. And every day I see the power we can hold - if we believe in it.
