Good breakdown Ali, and respect to every group here. Minted, Emperors Journal, BR4ted, Funkari, and all the other unmentioned "Alpha" Groups
Each brings something different, and that's what keeps this space alive.
People love to say "alpha" groups just extract. The truth is, a lot of mints wouldn't sell out, and a lot of collections wouldn't have any liquidity without the groups showing up early. We bring the eyes, the volume, and the momentum
For @0xAlphaGEMs, spots were never the point. We push the NFT narrative and add real volume whether we get allocation or not (degens)
We've taken our Ls on ruggers too, which is exactly why I try my best to filter hard now
When you run one of the top communities in the space, every push and every collab gets watched, even the degen ones. That responsibility is on us
Degen calls and public alpha hunting worked back in the day. Today the risky early plays belong in "private", with people who actually understand the risk
And none of it works without the builders. Great groups plus great builders are what bring the attention and volume back to NFTs

All "Alpha" Groups have their own special quirks that make them who they are e.g.
Minted is probably the most well known as "the botters" as we tend to mint almost every whitelist and public mint that launches, some people hate us, others love us. Although we offer a lot more that's what catches the attention of everyone so we continue to post about it.
Alpha Gems/BR4ted/Funkari are all limited to roughly 200 members or less and receive high whitelist allocation spots as they take the time to reach out and call with different founders and i respect that as i honestly couldn't do that - i don't have the patience to pretend i like a project just for spots ๐ญ
I am a big fan of Emperors Journal's server though, Guar has been building non-stop the past few months with new monitors and tools for their members, its one of the top groups imo - they've also given me ideas to implement into Minted which is pretty nice.
Minted is one of a few big groups that are ungated/anyone can join and leave at any time they wish which is something i have always wanted as we didn't want people to "prove" themselves to join us or have to commit to posting to stay within the server which is why i really respect and love members who are very active within Minted.

I love Gems and honestly words canโt explain how much work @CrypSaf puts into this community.
So I thought Iโd share a little about who Safz really is and what people donโt always see behind Gems๐
If you only know him as the founder of Gems you probably donโt know Safz yet.
Safz is the kind of founder who never really clocks out.
Heโs hunting 24/7.
New project? Heโs looking.โจNew opportunity? Heโs hunting.โจNew trend? Heโs learning.โจNew idea? Heโs testing.
Then you jump into Gems VC and somehow heโs there too ๐ญ
50 people tagging him?โจHeโs replying.
Someone needs help?โจHeโs there.
Someone has an idea?โจHe listens.

And while doing all of this heโs still building his own bag.
But this is where I think people misunderstand @0xAlphaGEMs.
Look at the opportunities Gems gets.
Max allocations.โจGiveaways.โจEarly opportunities.โจFounder connections.โจAlpha.โจAccess.
And itโs not just throwing a $50 raffle at the community and calling it a day.
Safz is constantly looking for opportunities where Gems can actually cook.
The goal isnโt for 2โ3 people to win while everyone else watches.
The goal is for every Gem to have a chance to make something from being here.
One Gem cooks โ another finds alpha โ another brings a project โ someone connects with a founder โ someone gets an allocation โ someone makes money.
Then the whole community gets stronger.
Thatโs the point.
Every Gem should cook.
And Iโve seen how much Safz remembers about the people around him.
He knows his members.โจHe remembers conversations.โจHe listens to our personal problems.โจHe deals with all our nonsense ๐
But most importantly, he genuinely wants people to grow.
Heโs not just building a bigger server.
Heโs building a stronger community where everyone contributes, everyone gets opportunities and everyone helps make Gems stronger.
