This is beautiful and so heartbreaking.
There are very few days I can remember from 25 years ago but 9/11 I can recall almost every moment.
It felt like the world changed forever that day. It still does.
Last night, 2,977 lights rose above New York Harbor, one for each life lost on September 11, 2001, before forming the Twin Towers against the New York City skyline.
The commemorative installation was created in collaboration with members of the 9/11 community, including family members, survivors and first responders, to mark the 25th anniversary of the attacks.
This whole situation has played out terribly, on both sides.

Truth.
One of my first observations when I started policing was this. We as a society breed too few decent people and vastly too many people that are a net drain, don't contribute and cause harm to others.
It takes a lot to bring a couple of kids up right in this world. For some that thinking doesn't factor into it at all, they breed and breed again without a care in the world for instilling the basic morals or work ethics we have, without teaching them right from wrong.
The numbers of decent people are getting fewer while all the time the neardowells numbers grow.
