When the Brits colonized India & ravaged it for two centuries, they never anticipated that one day, the descendants of those whom they colonized would rule over them.
The PM of UK @RishiSunak, and now the leader of Scotland @HumzaYousaf are both of Desi heritage.
The one is of Punjabi/Hindu background, and the other of Pakistani/Muslim background. The irony is that they will be bickering over standard British/Scottish quibbles (like whose tea and scones are best I guess 🤔?)
I just find it ironic, in an interesting sort of way.
