DYK smoking materials are one of the top causes of home fires in BC? Be sure to use a deep, sturdy ashtray when extinguishing cigarettes. Never put them in mulch, potted plants or landscaping, peat moss, dried grasses, leaves or other things that could ignite easily

A great tip from our friends at @Ecomm911. If you're visiting a friend's house for dinner this weekend, make a habit of remembering the address. It could save valuable time in an emergency. #NewWest
"At my neighbour's" won’t help your food delivery driver redirect your order—and it won't help us find you in an emergency. If you are spending this weekend with neighbours, friends or family, know your location so that we can find and help you faster in an emergency. #911BC
