Artist of the day: 𝗞𝗶𝗻𝘂 𝗡𝗶𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗺𝘂𝗿𝗮 Born on October 5 1969, in Hyōgo Prefecture (Japan), Kinu Nishimura is a powerhouse illustrator and character designer who helped define the golden era of Capcom’s fighting games. She joined Capcom in 1991 (right out of Kyoto University of Art and Design) and quickly became one of their most beloved artists. Her style is instantly recognizable: dynamic energy, sketchy yet clean lines, beautiful expressive faces (especially the women) and that perfect mix of power and elegance that makes every character feel alive and full of personality.
