doctor’s duty is to treat patients, not to tolerate abuse and intimidation. When attendants aggressively confront a doctor and start filming her, walking away from an escalating situation is not ego. It is self-defence.
You cannot expect doctors to work under fear of assault and then lecture them about their duty when they try to protect themselves.
Patient safety matters. But doctor’s safety is a prerequisite for that.
Female Doctor Se Behas Hui, Injured Patients Ko Chhodkar Uthkar Chali Gayi! Budhwar raat Ambah Civil Hospital mein accident mein injured teen logon ka treatment chal raha tha. Doctor ka kaam patient ka treatment karna hota hai. Parijanon se behas hui toh uski saza injured patient ko kyun? Ego baad mein, patient ka treatment pehle.

These dudes think they can deal with Houthis when they can’t even control Balochs, who are much less resourced and equipped than the Houthis.
You have to give credit where it due. No one extracts cash better than Pakistan - whether from Saudi, USA, China or EU.
Master beggars.

#BRICS is building financial alternatives not by replacing Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication (SWIFT) or abandoning the dollar, but by developing local-currency financing, cross-border payments, and a stronger New Development Bank: @gchikermane or-f.org/40309#GlobalSouth

For some the mental concentration is easier, for some the concentration in the heart centre; some are capable of doing both alternately — but to begin with the heart centre, if one can do it, is the more desirable.

Other than the NDMC area, the rest of Delhi has fully gone to hell.
Potholed roads.
Traffic that is out of control.
Wrong side driving is the norm.
Nobody takes traffic lights seriously.
Traffic police invisible.
Garbage mountains in so many places.
Cows in the middle of roads.
A beautiful city gone to hell.
Your unwavering conviction for economic reforms continues to steer India towards a strong, secure and self-reliant future.
Wishing you good health and long life to lead with vision and purpose towards #ViksitBharat.
Happy birthday, @narendramodi ji!
It was an honour to meet Prime Minister @narendramodi and present him my new book, India 2030.
A deep discussion on the economy revealed unique facets of his governance style and experiential perspectives.
Many learnings.

The New Delhi Declaration is itself #BRICS' achievement: 11 countries—some with deep rivalries—and many with divergent interests still found enough common ground to agree on 140 points. The grouping's strength lies not in uniformity, but in managing disagreement: @gchikermane or-f.org/40309 #GlobalSouth

People told me a Free Trade Agreement with India wasn’t possible. Well, today that deal passed its final vote in Parliament. It’s happening.
National said we said we’d secure a Free Trade Agreement with India in our first term, and we’ve delivered.
This landmark deal means more jobs, higher incomes for Kiwis. It means more New Zealand products being sold in India by opening the door to 1.4 billion Indian consumers.
It’s one of the ways we will grow the economy to help you get ahead – fixing the basics and building the future.
Look beyond a desk or a designation.
Give dignity to individual workers.
This is the missing piece in the fast-growing, fast-scaling gig economy, writes @monikahalan.

I saw it 30 years ago when the well-off cried crocodile tears over the 'digital coolies' as the coders were called.
I see the same thing play out when they cry over the lives of the gig workers.
But gigs are giving three things to those who are onboarding:
1. Choices
2. Agency over time
3. Dignity
Of course, more can be done with insurances and benefits, but the platform economy is here to stay, like software was.

Love the thali analogy.
Of course, it was vegetarian and @peta would be so proud.
The New Delhi Declaration is not a power play of a thin-crust pizza; it is the multipolar diplomacy of a diversified geopolitical thali.
My essay in @orfonline.

Given border tensions, divergent positions on ongoing conflicts, and structural asymmetries among members, a New Delhi #BRICS consensus was far from assured.
The agreement is the achievement.

In terms of size, the #BRICS New Delhi Declaration runs to 140 paragraphs, versus 16 in the founding 2009 Yekaterinburg Declaration.
This is an eight-fold increase reflecting membership growth, accommodation of diverse interests, and engaging geopolitical complexities.
A plurilateral conversation with multilateral objectives, internal differences in #BRICS have broken out of binary fault lines of a uni- or bipolar world into incremental persuasions for a multipolar future.
It is a diversified diplomatic thali, not a dominant-flavoured pizza.
