Russian forces launched 16 ballistic missiles and more than 200 drones of various types at Ukraine, including jet-powered Shahed drones.
The main targets were Kyiv and the surrounding region. Energy facilities, a medical clinic, a school, a metro station, and residential buildings were also hit.
More than ten energy infrastructure facilities were damaged across Ukraine overnight, leaving at least 550,000 households without electricity.
Zelensky said Moscow has shown no willingness to take even the slightest steps toward de-escalation, let alone ending the war.
“When deliveries of missiles for Ukraine’s air defense are blocked, while Russia receives sanctions relief or delays, this unfortunately means that our partners are denying reality,” the Ukrainian president stressed.

Ensuring that Putin can more effectively massacre Ukraine's civilian population is now the core the Trump's "peace efforts", which just happens to be Putin's exact goal.

Women blinded under Islamic Republic, and Taliban, by shotgun and acid attack!
I invited these incredible heroes to Spain and Poland because I believe the real awards belong to them. The Islamic Republic took their eyes for the crime of demanding freedom. They still do not lower their voices, unlike many Europeans they don’t bow to their oppressors.
Europe is legitimizing the Taliban and shaking hands with the mullahs. Before you sign the next deal, sit with these women. Look into their eyes. Answer one question: Why?
Their stories are not only about Iran. They are a warning.
These women fight so their country can be free, and so your democracies stay safe from the same Islamist terrorists knocking at your door.
Europe talks about values. But then it normalizes relations with the Taliban and Islamic Republic of Iran, the same regimes who kick out girls from schools, ban women from working, from being seen, from existing in public life.
The mullahs hang women and men for speaking up. They hang young people for one post on social media.
One day you will harvest what you have planted.

No information on ballistic missile launches: The U.S. has once again failed to warn Ukraine about an attack on Kyiv — Radio Liberty.
There are fatalities and injuries.
A massive crater, caused by a missile strike in front of an office building in Kyiv’s Dniprovskyi district—footage captured by a U.S. journalist on the scene.
The building housed only the offices of civilian businesses, as well as a "Sportlife" fitness center.

Russian forces have executed Ukrainian prisoners of war in the direction of Huliaipole, according to a spokesperson for the "South" group of forces.
The Ukrainian military intercepted Russian radio communications in which troops were ordered to "finish off" the wounded and "liquidate" prisoners "immediately."
Members of the Russian 38th Motorized Rifle Brigade are believed to be involved in the crime. The Prosecutor General's Office has launched an investigation, and the intercepted material has been handed over to law enforcement authorities.
