Scratch that, this is the greatest ad of all time: "If you're the sexual predator and sociopath who murdered my sister Lynette, and you come to my front door to do harm to my girls, I'm gonna use my Glock... To blow your balls off."
I'm doing research for a new video and I think I found what might be the greatest political ad of all time. Behold... JD Winteregg's 2014 "Electile Dysfunction" ad:

Straight up bullseye. Vance is a non-starter. GOP needs to run away from the failed, corrupt, Trump Admin or pay the price.

She is why California has turned into shit. Dumb women who are useful idiots
I voted Democrat in California! Xavier Becerra will carry on Governor Gavin Newsom's great leadership. Don't believe the lies. California is safer because of Democratic policies. We believe in rehabilitation, not incarceration. People make mistakes. Sometimes they make the same mistakes over and over again. Everyone deserves another chance, especially if they pinky swear they won't do it again. 💙🗳️

Great movie. Great actor.
Robert Duvall won the Academy Award for Best Actor for his performance in Tender Mercies & I don’t know how acting can get better than this. Duvall plays a broken man with essentially nothing to live for & no reason to keep moving forward. It’s a story about a quiet redemption & a man’s quest to find new purpose. It’s a beautiful film that I think you should watch.

Part way through his senior year, Yahya Black let his personality out to the media, seemingly out of nowhere. Was so fun to talk to. Glad he's still being himself in Pittsburgh.

Indian-born Congressman Raja Krishnamoorthi introduces a bipartisan resolution to designate July as “Indian American Heritage Month,” backed by nearly 60% of the House. Krishnamoorthi says more than 5.2 million “Indian Americans” live in the US, declaring: “Indian Americans have helped shape this country for generations…to honor that legacy and celebrate the many ways Indian Americans continue to enrich our country.” Follow: @AFpost

His last 2 videos are instructing illegals on how to evade ICE, and now this one reminding everyone that no ID is required to vote in NYC. They aren’t being subtle, folks.
Mamdani: "You do not need to bring [ID] to vote" (2 seconds later) "our elections are secure"

There were 2,500 pigs on the farm. The chores were simple and they never stopped. Feed them. Clean them. Scrape the lots. Do it before school, then do it again after school. Yesterday the kid who did those chores coached his team to the biggest win of their season. This morning his father was gone. His name is Bret Bielema. Start with his dad, because none of the rest of it happens without his dad and that farm. Arnie Bielema sold sporting goods for a living. Before Bret started grade school he moved the family out to a pig farm outside Prophetstown, in northern Illinois, and put all five of his kids to work on it. Here is how Arnie described the way they ran it. "Whatever came up in the line of duties, we worked together." Here is how Bret described his own job on it. "Anything that made the pigs survive." He played tight end and linebacker for the high school in town, and he went 31 and 2 on the wrestling mat as a senior. Nobody offered him a football scholarship. But his father sold sporting goods, and men who sell sporting goods know people. Those connections got Bret into the summer camps at Iowa. That is how Hayden Fry saw him. He walked on at Iowa in 1989 as a defensive lineman. He earned a scholarship, which he later said he needed just to stay enrolled. He lettered four years. By his senior season his teammates had made him captain. He went undrafted, got cut by Seattle, and spent a year in the Arena Football League in Milwaukee. Then he started coaching and did not stop. Graduate assistant at Iowa. Kansas State. Wisconsin, where he went 68 and 24, took three straight Big Ten titles and reached three straight Rose Bowls. Arkansas fired him in 2017. He went to New England and got a Super Bowl ring. In 2021 Illinois hired him, which is the school in his own state. Yesterday Oregon came to Champaign. Oregon had been the number two team in America in the preseason. Illinois had to start a freshman quarterback named Michael Clayton II in the first start of his life, because the starter was hurt. Illinois 21, Oregon 10. Then this morning the school released a statement from him. "I was grateful to go see him on Thursday night and Friday morning of this past week and spend a memorable last time with him." Be straight about the last four years of his life. In November of 2022 his mother Marilyn was gone, and he flew to Michigan and coached the next day. His wife's father was gone a few days after that. And Illinois is 4 and 3 right now. But on that farm, the reward for getting through a hard week was Sunday afternoon golf with his dad.

Mississippi boy makes good
After almost five and a half seasons across five different teams, Iowa alum Brandon Smith finally gets his first NFL regular-season catches on Sunday. Two for 24 yards - including a big one here on a third down. Dedication drives dreams.

Black kids get an 181x boost at NYU, a 133x boost at Cornell, and a 103x boost at Harvard compared to Whites and Asians. Absolutely insane numbers.

His Aubrey-Maturin series is outstanding. A complete delight.
hearing for the first time that novelist Patrick O'Brian (of _Master & Commander_ fame) invented much of his own biography, didn't know how to sail & had no practical experience doing it, wasn't Anglo-Irish gentry but rather English working class, barely educated, concealed his early marriage... Everything he learned about sailing & the 19th c was from obsessive research & reading books. O'Brian comes out to be a far more puzzling, eccentric, twisted, anachronistic figure who lived in isolation on a small hobby farm in France, deeply secretive, insecure, brooding, exiled, aloof, yet TOTALLY COMMITTED TO THE BIT. I like him even more now (am currently reading Master & Commander)

Walter Kirn: Everything that happens before the election is a PSYOP. KIRN: “Everything that happens, the polling, the rumors, the word of mouth, the social media posts, the trends, the little anecdotes that get repeated and go viral. Everything is subordinate to that election. And none of it is true in and of itself. It's all instrumental.” “Not only don't I trust the polls, I do trust the polls. I trust them to be nudging people in all the ways that polls can for all the people who can pay for polls.” “The news now is all about behavior modification. It's not about truth.” For the next week, every poll or viral story you see, don't ask if it's true. Ask what it's trying to get you to do.
