🚨CHILD KIDNAPPER AND SEX OFFENDER REPORTEDLY RELEASED FROM PRISON
Kevin Holmes, who abducted a 10-year-old girl, bundled her into the boot of his car and sexually assaulted her, has reportedly been RELEASED from prison.
Holmes, from Thornton, Liverpool, was sentenced in 2011 to an indeterminate sentence for public protection (IPP), with a minimum term of five years.
The attack happened on 9 May 2010 when the young girl was walking to buy sweets.
Holmes approached her asking for help before grabbing her, forcing her into his car boot and driving her to a secluded wasteland.
He sexually assaulted her and threatened to drown her in a pond if she turned around.
After abandoning the child, he went to collect his three-year-old son to go on holiday to Yorkshire.
Holmes, then 28 and unemployed, pleaded guilty to kidnapping, assault occasioning actual bodily harm and sexual assault.
At sentencing, Judge Christopher Cornwall described him as “highly dangerous” and said he posed a serious risk to children.
15 years on, Holmes has reportedly been released.
